NetCeiver-Technology

The NetCeiver design includes three tuner slots for Reel DVB-Tuner-Cards and two common interface (CI) slots for Pay-TV modules. DVB-Tuner-Cards are avilable for all kinds of digital TV (DVB-S2, DVB-S, DVB-C and DVB-T).

With three Twin-Tuner-Cards (currently avilable for DVB-S) the NetCeiver can be equipped with with it's maximum configuraton of six independant tuners. All available Reel DVB-Tuners can be freely combined according to preference. Reel DVB-S2 and DVB-C tuners are fully HD compatible, providing all the hardware needed for HD decoding and are ready for future requirements.

The Netceiver is connected to the ReelBox main circuit board via Gigabit Ethernet, providing enough bandwidth to receive many HD data streams simultaneously. By using a switch/router all available TV- and Radio-Channels as well as High-Definition-Channels will be made available for Laptops, PCs and other IP-based streaming clients like Reel's forthcoming IP-Client.

Using NetCeiver as an external DVB-Receiver with Gigabit Connectivity
Use a NetCeiver as an external multi-tuner solution, e.g. nearby your satellite dish. Thus enabling you to connect your NetCeiver with up to six LNBs with minimum cabeling. Doing that, only one Gigabit-Network-Cable will be required to feed the whole TV-Program comfortably into your network.
